Student Attendance Support

We are thrilled to announce funding for AAMAS 2025 student scholarships. These scholarships will assist in partially covering travel and registration expenses for eligible students. To qualify, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at a higher education institution, such as a university.

When allocating awards, priority will be given to students who are listed as authors of a paper accepted for AAMAS 2025, including full papers and extended abstracts at the main conference, especially the ones presenting the paper. Next, scholarships will be awarded to students who have a paper accepted at the Doctoral Consortium. If funding permits, we also aim to support students from under-represented groups who do not have a paper accepted.

NOTE: Please note that attending the conference is a requirement for receiving support. No funding will be provided for students who do not attend AAMAS 2025.

Important Dates

  • Application Submission Deadline: February 28, 2025 (23:59 AoE)
  • Notification: March 28, 2025 (23:59 AoE)

Submission Requirements

To apply for the student scholarship, please complete the application form by following this link: https://forms.gle/ZR9zQqnEvjnHCfVM9.

The application form will require a document as proof of full-time enrollment (e.g., a scanned copy of your student ID card with an expiration date).

We take your privacy seriously and the application form is compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all relevant US guidelines. Your information will be kept, processed, and then destroyed in accordance with these regulations.

Please note that acceptance into the scholarship program requires attendance at the conference and participation as a student volunteer. Student volunteers may be asked to assist with various conference duties, such as assisting at a specific session. Successful US applicants are also expected to participate in the Doctoral Consortium, either as a presenter or attendee, with no requirement to have a paper accepted. Additionally, US applicants will be asked to submit a report on their conference experience.

The application deadline is February 28, 2025 (11:59pm AoE) and you will be notified of your application status by March 28th, 2025 (11:59pm AoE). If your application is accepted you may receive a form of financial assistance to partially cover conference registration fees. We kindly ask applicants to not register for the conference prior to receiving the scholarship notification, as we will not be able to reimburse any payments made beforehand.
