ABSTRACT: This talk is part of Professional Development and Career Mentoring Activities at AAMAS25. It will address how to build self-confidence and its importance for academic/professional careers. While for some, self-confidence is innate, others have to work to build it. We will provide a collection of tips for helping everyone learn to take action to build self-confidence. The presentation will include opportunities to reflect and discuss specific examples.
